Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and the idea of the antipasti meats to share as our starters proved very popular with everyone, the decor, ambiance and service was ideal for the occasion.

A group of us came to you restaurant on 2nd December, and enjoyed a Christmas lunch with you, it was the 1st Christmas lunch together this year.

Thank you all for your kindness and careful preparation of lovely food.

Guys,
Was born and bred in Esher.
Used the Bear a lot until a bad patch a couple of years ago.
Complained to regional management and was invited back to notable improvement - which was good - but did not last long.
Vowed I would not return (had one chance and I am not very tolerant) but was persuaded last year - and was impressed.
Have now been back a few more time and remain impressed.
Its not difficult...good hot food, pleasant / efficient service, decent clean surroundings / appropriate price
You folk have have got it right - congratulations.

Your helpful and efficient staff are an asset to your company, they were on hand to be of assistance if we needed but at the same time very descrete in preparation of the food and clearing up afterwards.

"As secretary of The East Molesey Thursday group Mrs. Hawkins who liaised with you, i am writing to say how much our group enjoyed the visit to The Bear for our Christmas lunch on January 20th, the nice high ceiling in the dining room was greatly admired and helped keep the noise down.

Your staff were very kind and helpful and did everything to give us a good time, we thought the candles and flowers were lovely and great care had been taken to make the tables look nice and inviting.
